Anna Nava-Liess
Instructor
Twelve years ago, after growing up in California, almost two decades as a nomadic military spouse traveling and living all over the US and Europe, and overcoming neurosurgery and partial paralysis, Anna discovered jewelry making and metalsmithing; they helped her regain and improve fine motor skills lost to paralysis. She is inspired by textiles, fashion, European architecture and the countless experiences she has had while living and traveling abroad. One-of-a-kind, handmade statement pieces are her passion. Anna is a four-time exhibiting artist at Artistar Jewels in Milan, Italy, two-time New York City Jewelry Week exhibitor and received the top honor in the jewelry category during the DC Region Creative Craft Council’s 2023 Biennial.
