Karin Jacobson launched her first jewelry collection in 2000 at the renowned Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and, within two years, earned national recognition as the Grand Winner of the American Jewelry Design Council New Talent Competition. Based in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, she creates her collections in a sunlit studio surrounded by a thriving community of makers. Each piece is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ethical sourcing, using recycled metals and gemstones that are fair trade, recycled, domestically sourced, or purchased through direct partnerships with artisanal miners. Most recently, she became Fairmined™ licensed and introduced a new collection in Fairmined™ 18K yellow gold, furthering her dedication to responsible and sustainable jewelry.
