Reflections In Silver

Ted Walker has been designing jewelry for over 32 years and is a registered Master Artisan with the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.

All of his designs are original and 100% hand-fabricated. Each piece is created entirely by hand using tools such as pliers, forging hammers, files, and burnishers, with no reliance on molds or jigs for mass production.

A typical workshop day begins with sterling silver wire or sheet, skillfully shaped and manipulated through a meticulous, multi-stage process. This process includes low-temperature brazing (soldering), forging, cabochon setting, grinding, and a final polish that reveals an exceptional shine. Ted uses a unique polishing method to inhibit tarnish, a detail many customers appreciate for the long-lasting brilliance of his work.

Ted’s jewelry is designed to stand the test of time, with a focus on simple, classic aesthetics featuring flowing, serene designs, rather than following trends or emphasizing glitz. A video demonstration of the creation process provides insight into the craftsmanship behind each piece.
